Phil leads EdTech Innovation at the Verizon Foundation, responsible for the development and implementation of Verizon’s signature K12 Education programs focused on reducing the digital divide of underserved students and improving their STEM related academic achievement. Included within his program portfolio is accountability for developing innovative content to deliver over Verizon’s 5G network deployment in schools, utilizing next gen technology, including VR, AR and AI. Prior to the Foundation, Phil helped Verizon develop Mobile Learning products as part of  Product Development. Before Verizon, he led business development efforts for an Educational Video Game publisher and co-founded an online education company.
