Nandini Chatterjee Singh is a cognitive neuroscientist and currently Senior Project Office at UNESCO MGIEP (Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development, in New Delhi, India. Nandini’s research is focused on learning, in the context of literacy, emotion and music. She leads the Rethinking Learning program which creates courses that embed knowledge and skills of intellectual, social and emotional learning as described by MGIEP’s SEL framework EMC2. EMC2, builds competencies in Empathy, Mindfulness, Compassion and Critical Inquiry through digital interactive experiential tools like games, dialogue, videos, podcasts, journaling using global issues and is designed for adolescent children.
