Dr. Mohan is a trauma surgeon and intensivist at the University of Pittsburgh. She studies how doctors think. Specifically, she is interested in the role that heuristics (intuitive judgments) play in decision making. In NIH-funded work, she has experimented with using customized video games to recalibrate physician heuristics in trauma triage.
