Managing Director
Arana Shapiro is the Managing Director of Games for Change where she oversees the daily operations and leads the organization's learning initiatives. Arana was formerly Executive Director at the Institute of Play where she led the Institute’s strategy, growth, development, and operations. She also oversaw the Institute’s major initiatives in relation to school design, leadership, and school-based partnerships. Arana is part of the founding team of school designers that opened the Institute of Play's flagship project, Quest to Learn, and is co-author of Quest to Learn: Growing a School for Digital Kids.
