Worldgames: Transferring In-game Benefits to Real Life (Encore)

Several studies show that games have implicit skill transfers to life like strategy, hand-eye coordination, resource management etc.  However, a new generation of games will have explicit real world benefits in AAA quality experiences where the benefits that accrue to the avatar actually accrue to you.  In this session, hear about examples where game developers are blurring the line between digital and physical, and directly transferring in game benefits to life.  Cultivating this transfer is important as it will reduce bias against games, improve players lives in the Real, and expand the game audience overall.
